This week’s post continues in the vein of teasers; we’re very excited to reveal just the right amount of information. Thus, we present to you a place you will be able to visit, one brimming with dread and decrepitude: the Dead Forest. Shrouded in perpetual darkness with a smattering of blackened, lifeless trees, the Dead Forest offers little save an eerie death to those unfortunate enough to discover its curse firsthand. That, however, does little to stop many an adventurer or vagrus from exploring its tenebrous glades – there is profit to be made here, and those in the service of the Empire or the Dragonlands are Tartaris-bent on pursuing it. As for what the place looks like? See it for yourself above.
This week's post is little more than a shameless teaser! Why? we hear you ask – well, we are slowly drawing closer and closer to the release of our upcoming expansion, and naturally, we’re eager to show off as much of its art as we can without giving too much away. So, without further ado, we present the bridge over River Umbra, now broken after having fallen into disrepair.
Hello everyone,
Are you ready for our Community Items?
Many of you might be familiar with Steam Trading Cards and other community items. Essentially, you can collect cards for playing games for which the feature is available. Complete sets of cards can be crafted into game badges that appear on your profile, earning you marketable items, such as profile backgrounds, emoticons, and coupons. They contribute to your Steam Level and are a fun way to show your love and dedication to the games you love.
Another week, another lore post - this time we return with the third part of our ongoing series of articles about perilous ruins of the Riven Realms (more specifically, the northern regions called terra supra). We will look at three more very dangerous places that used to be centers of civilization in the fabled past, before the Calamity ruined most of Xeryn. This time, on the chopping block are Urad, the city lost in the fog, once-mighty Quathos of the Dwarves, and ominous and all too quiet Valley of Sleepers. Let’s dive in!
Hey everyone,
Today we are releasing a large patch with features that we’ve been talking about for some time, most of which are a reiteration from the post we released about a public Beta weeks ago. With that Beta now over, you can now scroll down to see all of the details regarding our implementation of full controller support, UI and text zooming, improved initial game loading times, and much, much more. Alongside these, we have also implemented a new pop-up window for players to see what’s new when they load up the game, and a DLC catalog, which lets you see what content you already own, as shown below.
Hello everyone!
This large swathe of land is a vast, empty desert of rocks and fine, dark sand. Comitati transport the harvested materials from camps on the eastern side up north, so there is some traffic despite the perpetual darkness that benights these lands. Otherwise, however, it is a barren wasteland, shunned by most thanks to unnaturally shifting shadows and unnamed horrors plaguing the inky blackness. Where could this place be? You shall find out in due time.
So what’s new on that public beta branch? Basically, everything we have added for hand-held porting and controller support, as well as screen optimization and accessibility features. A more detailed rundown of these can be found in our previous devlog here.
Happy New Year everyone! We hope that you all had as wonderful a holiday season as we did. Today’s post is little more than a shameless teaser; something is brewing in our kitchens at Lost Pilgrims, and it’s not just coffee. This week we simply wish to present you with an image, of a land whose denizens and inhabitants have been exterminated, but not by the Calamity… What could have happened? You will be able to find out, in time.
Following on from our earlier post in October, we now present the second installment of our ongoing series, ‘The Most Dangerous Ruins of Terra Supra’. This week we’re taking a look at three more of Xeryn’s most feared and dreaded ruins, several of which once stood as proud loci of a formerly glorious civilization, before the Calamity’s fallout wrought unforeseen destruction and corruption upon the Riven Realms. Without further ado, let’s delve right in!
Not quite a location per se, more of an occurrence everybody tries to avoid, a change storm is a special kind of arcane storm. Striking out of nowhere, often without any prior warning signs, it rains malicious energies upon anyone unfortunate enough to be caught up in it. Change storms are known to twist forms and change substance. They are known to alter living creatures and inanimate objects alike. Such a storm refracts, warps, reshapes, mutates, and changes everything and everyone it touches in the most disconcerting, morbid, and repulsive ways fathomable. The effects of a change storms are a perverse violation of all anatomical structures – and the changes may very well be permanent. Therefore, change storms must be avoided at all costs, or, one caught up in it has to muster all sorcerous defenses at their disposal to get out unaffected.
