Following on from last week’s post about music, this week we’d like to take a look at a place that is often no stranger to both ambiance and music: a tavern. We commissioned the new tavern art last year to diversify the many inns and watering holes of the game world. A combination of complementary hues, subtle lights, and peculiar ornaments make up this painting by Péter Kovács, which is used in a variety of locations in Vagrus’s major expansion, Sunfire and Moonshadow.
The Noxious Lakes are sizable bodies of green, phosphorescent fluid near Kadaath that emit poisonous gasses. When one allows their gaze to scan the landscape, large objects are visible farther away, jutting out of the surface of the lakes. What could they be? Piles of scrap metal? Remnants of ancient buildings? Perhaps a wreckage of sorts? And more importantly; what treasures could they hold? Is it worth risking one's hide to find out? Definitely hard to tell at first glance. Either way, venturing into the suffocating fumes and acidic ponds without adequate means to survive would be ill-advised and foolhardy at the very least, suicidal even.
Hey everyone,
As we have mentioned before, while we are working on the upcoming DLCs already, we would also like to expand Vagrus with smaller content drops – both the core game and the Expansion. The first of such additions comes in the form of this update, which adds the starting segments of a lengthy questline to all owners of Sunfire and Moonshadow. Without getting into spoilers, the quest deals with the Dreamwalker’s followers and will take you to places previously unseen. To start it, you have to have interacted with these strange fanatics several times and explored the Bronze Desert.
Hey everyone,
We come to you this week bearing good news: we’re drawing closer to another sizable content release for Vagrus, specifically for the Expansion Sunfire and Moonshadow, codename: Clandestine. 2024 is set to be a big year for Lost Pilgrims, which means both our art and writing teams are hard at work on two brand-new DLCs, but also additional content we are including as part of our November release of Sunfire and Moonshadow. If you’ve already got the expansion you needn’t worry, you’ll be able to enjoy the new story as part of the upcoming free update 1.160, Clandestine. And while we can’t give you an exact release date just yet, this first content drop is coming sooner than you think!
Hey everyone,
Our original plan was to kick the year off with a neat content update (more about it here) in early February together with a host of fixes but the team crushed so many bugs in January – some of them critical – that we decided to release the update earlier. So here we are. We’ll follow this up soon with what we originally intended. Very soon, actually. As always, the majority of the bugs we have fixed were reported by our amazing community. We can’t thank you enough for helping us improve Vagrus, but we’ll try with additional content in the future.
Hey everyone,
Today we’re taking a look at one of the most crucial trade routes in the Northern reaches of the Riven Realms: the East-West Road. If you’ve delved into our recently released Sunfire and Moonshadow expansion, you’re probably already familiar with it. It spans the width of the Bronze Desert, bridging the Imperial harbor of Toht to the east and Kabur, Jewel of the North, to the southwest at the foot of the Brown Mountains.
On a stone plateau in the Outer Realm looms a mysterious realmgate, consisting of a pair of stone pillars that were altered by ancient magic and now resemble fangs facing each other. Around it, everything is barren and silent and the air is pregnant with potent energies. Realmswalkers are able to activate it and step through the reflective vertical surface hanging between the arches, and it takes them to other Realms far beyond the reach of conventional means of travel. Do you have what it takes to become a Realmswalker in Vagrus? Will you be able to turn your ability into a new avenue of profit? The free update that was released alongside our expansion can answer these questions for anyone interested in investigating them.
Today we’re eager to delve into one of the newest additions to Vagrus : Kadaath on the Outer Realms. Released for free for all players at the same time as our first expansion, this section of the Outer Realms can be accessed by first heading to Lumen in the base game, where vagri can begin a quest to get there provided that the year is at least 1108 p.c., they have at least four hundred Bross, three Companions, and at least three Renown. An in-game pop-up directs new or returning players there also, though this information can also be accessed at any time by using the “What’s new?” button under the Extras submenu in Vagrus’s main menu.
Behold the captivating cityscape of exotic Kabur, the Jewel of the North. It is one of the most prominent locations in Sunfire and Moonshadow, the expansion of Vagrus that has gone live on Steam, GOG, and Epic. This alluring city lies in the northwestern part of the continent of Xeryn, nestled at the mouth of the valleys at the foot of the Brown Mountains. Kabur, in its colorful magnificence, is dotted with slender towers and shiny onion-shaped domes. Tarkians have laid its foundations even though it is located far away from Tark, and it has become a melting pot of cultures Imperials consider to be exotic. A Handjari Prince rules the metropolis in the name of the Emperor, trying to make a tidy profit in these difficult times of war and insurrection in the north.
Hello everyone,
Xeryn is about to become even more captivating as we proudly announce the release of our highly anticipated expansion: Sunfire and Moonshadow, featuring a vast new region to explore. As of now, it is available to the public on Steam, GOG, and Epic Games and it can be purchased as part of our Season Pass on Steam, GOG, and Epic., which includes two future DLCs. Check out the trailer here.
