DLC Character Art – The Iron Guard
29 May | 10:00 am

Today we have another teaser for you in the form of character art – an essential component of our upcoming At the Heart of Ruin expansion, where many new humanoids, beasts, creatures, and anomalies are set to be introduced. And yet, this one is hardly ostentatious; it does not aim to dazzle or inspire fear, but simply to show you one of the various factions of authority that exist in Scrapheap, the focal point of many coming adventures.

Console Release Coverage Roundup
08 May | 11:00 am

Since Vagrus’s console release on the 31st of March, life at the studio has been hectic. We’ve been fixing bugs and trying to keep up with the deluge of coverage on offer. It’s almost proven too much! In this article, we’ve put together some of said coverage for your perusal.

First and perhaps most poignantly, Playstation and Xbox elected to support us by featuring the game’s trailer on their wide-reaching platforms, helping the release to reach a lot of potential new players. Then, there are the sites that cover specific platforms – NintendoEverything, GoNintendo, XboxEra, TheXboxHub, and CompleteXbox – all of whom dedicated an article to our release.

Abominable Horrors Stalking Tahrar Barak
17 Apr | 10:00 am

Disturbing monstrosities prowl northern Tahrar Barak, their sinewy, slimy forms slithering on open ground, preying upon any who come into contact with them. Those who are unlucky enough to have seen them call them the stuff of nightmares, though none know their name – or even if they have one.

The creatures’ many limbs – are they even limbs? – are said to lash out, strangling those they manage to grasp. Yet most threatening of all is its underbelly – much like an open, gangrenous wound, it’s an unseemly sight and its stench is sickening. Blind and seemingly possessing little intelligence, these abominations seem to be drawn to other living beings with the single-minded intent of snuffing them out.

DLC Character Artwork – The Cleansing Conflagration
20 Mar | 10:00 am

It’s about time we brought to your attention one of the most insane gangs of them all in our new At the Heart of Ruin DLC, who call themselves the Cleansing Conflagration. This band of murderers and pyromaniacs are just as likely to lob fiery projectiles your way as they are to parley, so if you're a vagrus who relies on persuasion to get what you want, you’ll not find these madmen particularly amenable.

DLC Location Artwork – The Lava-Sunken Ruin
13 Mar | 11:00 am

This week’s article introduces not just another scalding locale where perilous heat is a given, but it is also held by one of Varnurud’s most determined scavenger gangs, the Hollow Men. Dubbed “the Bastion” by its current occupants, the ruin itself is ancient and of Dwarven origin. Following the Calamity and subsequent catastrophes on the mountain, half of its stone buildings were consumed by lava, yet at least for the time being, the rest of the scorched stone structures remain accessible. There is no telling today what the purpose of the ancient Dwarven settlement was but it had sturdy buildings and tall towers that commanded a large swathe of the area.

DLC Location Artwork – Mushroom Fields
06 Mar | 10:00 am

The theme and look of this week’s location reveal for our upcoming DLC, At the Heart of Ruin, is quite different from the previously teased ones, all fiery and desolate. It is true that vagri who brave the Mountains of Fire will mostly traverse a volcanic hellscape replete with peril of the scorching variety, but what lies beneath is also intriguing.

Announcement – Vagrus Console Releases
27 Feb | 2:00 pm

When we released Vagrus in October 2021, we could not have imagined that so many would be enthralled by the world of the Riven Realms. Naturally, we have been busy trying to get the game to as many people as possible, but the sheer complexity of the game left us skeptical of the viability of a release on consoles. However, those days are long behind us, and now we are thrilled to announce that Vagrus will be coming to consoles on the 31st of March, 2025 – specifically, to Playstation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox.

20 Feb | 10:00 am

Our aim at Lost Pilgrims is not just to create memorable gaming experiences, but also to introduce you to people who contribute to building our cozy community. The New and Improved Extras Menu
30 Jan | 10:00 am

This week we’re excited to show off some recent revamps of our UI that we’ve been working on, namely a rework of the Extras menu point in the game’s main menu. The most important improvements here entail the ability to rewatch all Vagrus cinematics, including the main campaign’s intro, as well as the story trailers of Old Acquaintances and At the Heart of Ruin, our upcoming DLC.
