Project Update - Vorax News Round-Up
18 May | 10:00 am

Having just recently released our first free DLC, we’ve been pleased with the feedback so far, which has included a number of game journalists covering the release, along with the new features that it brought.

First off was Liam Dawe, the owner of GamingOnLinux; he wrote a piece on his website that you can find here. Linux gamers must be starving for some dark SRPG action, as they also covered the release with an article at linuxgamenews.com.

Project Update - Holiday Happenings
13 Jan | 10:00 am

Hey everyone,

Now that the 2021 holidays are over and we had a little rest, Lost Pilgrims is getting back into the swing of things. But even during that wonderful time of the year, we had some amazing things going on around Vagrus, which we've decided to collect into a single article for you.

First, Vagrus made the list of Nookrium's favorite indie games of 2021. From a dude who plays and critiques so many games, this is a great honor! Go check out his work if you are into hidden gems of the indie gaming world, which his channel focuses on.

Release Letsplay Special with Splattercatgaming
08 Oct | 2:00 pm

Seven years ago we saw an up-and-coming youtuber with a great sense of humor showcase a weird, new game called Sunless Sea on his channel. We started talking about developing a game in the same vein set in our own unique RPG setting, which ended up being Vagrus - The Riven Realms.

Project Update - DreamHack Beyond and Gamescom
12 Aug | 10:00 am

It's been a while since we've attended a game show but we are finally back in the - alas virtual - saddle! With none other than DreamHack, in fact. It's a gaming event that we have loved ever since our trip to showcase Vagrus at DH Summer in Sweden back in 2019.

DreamHack Beyond was held between July 24 and July 31 as a fully digital event. What made it unique was that they created an actually video game that you could log into, pick your avatar, and walk around in a world reminiscent of Rick and Morty's. We as developers were invited to participate in the event by customizing our virtual game console so that visitors could walk up and interact with it on the virtual show floor.

Project Update - Laci in da House
07 Jan | 10:00 am

Opening an indie game dev studio and developing a 100+ hour long, complex game right away comes with a lot of important lessons. One of which has been that we like to dream big and thanks to the abundant positive feedback from our amazing players, we like to make these visions even bigger. Thus we have felt since the end of 2019 that if we ever wanted to realize all the potential Vagrus has, we have to raise our core team's size.

Project Update - Companion Progression
15 Oct | 10:00 am

One of the most requested additions by our Early Access players has been Companion progression for a while now, and it's no surprise. Being a party-based RPG at its heart, Vagrus has a roster of unique Companions that are your most trusty lieutenants with their own backstories, skills, and personalities. It is only natural that they can become stronger with time and effort - and we have naturally designed this progression system in the beginning, but we held off on adding it because there were a lot of specifics to work out and the EA experience functioned fairly well without it.
