Help Us Shape the Future of the Lost Pilgrims Patreon
10 Sep | 3:00 pm

For years, the Lost Pilgrims community has supported us in many different ways — by playing Vagrus, sharing their experiences with others, joining the conversation, and, for some of you, supporting us directly through Patreon.

We’re currently taking a fresh look at our Patreon and wondering what, if anything, we could do to make it more interesting and valuable to our community. And this is where we’d love your input. We’ve put together a short survey to better understand what people would actually want from a Lost Pilgrims Patreon. We’re interested in hearing from current supporters, former patrons, people who have considered joining, and people who have never used our Patreon at all.

Back to School in the Riven Realms: What Does It Take to Become a Vagrus?
02 Sep | 2:00 pm

The time has come to sharpen your quills, dust off your scrolls, and return to your studies. Or, if you happen to live in the Riven Realms, perhaps also to sharpen your blades, inspect your beasts, and make sure your supplies will last until the next statio.

While there may not be a universally recognized academy capable of preparing someone for the life of a vagrus, surviving the wasteland requires a surprisingly broad education. A successful leader must be part explorer, merchant, commander, diplomat, warrior, and even historian. So, with the season of learning upon us, we thought we'd put together a rather unconventional curriculum.

The Great Stairs Revisited
06 Aug | 10:00 am

In this series of “Revisited” articles, we’re taking a look at iconic or interesting locations in the playable part of the Riven Realms and invoke their unique atmosphere.

This time around, we’re taking a look at the Great Stairs, a location we first introduced a year ago. Many once-mighty edifices of an age long past still dot the volcanic landscape of Varnurud, the ravine-ridden, broken ridges of the northern Mountains of Fire. Among the most impressive such structures is what the savage inhabitants of the region simply call “the Great Stairs”, although it was once known as the Stairs of Baldar. In the ancient days of the Third Age, the kingdom’s Dwarves used these to ascend to the tall ranges of Norrgadar, or down to Varnurud – often with cargo. By present day, the stairs have crumbled so badly that it is difficult to believe they were ever safe to traverse. Rumor has it that many scavengers found their deaths trying to reach the highest point, if only to gaze outward and take in the magnificent view of the valleys below.

Revisiting Conflagration Village
17 Jun | 10:00 am

One year ago to the day we shared an article about the Conflagration Village, a place we hoped you would never have to visit in game: the dwelling the Cleansing Conflagration – a gang of pyromaniacal, murderous scavengers – call home. Though it may not look much at first glance, it is a place of terror, sacrifice, and depravity, where there are artifacts and effigies aplenty to remind you of what cruelty goes on there.

Expedition Hotfix and News
04 Jun | 2:00 pm

Vagri! We released a bunch of fixes for the last update (Expedition Part 3) yesterday, and now we are following up with the list of changes. There is a fair amount of stuff here, many of which were quite nasty, or at the very least, persistent, so we’re glad to have hunted them down. We hope this batch will make the experience much better.
