February Tech Update Post
16 Feb | 10:00 am

Hello everyone,

In our previous post, we announced the opening of our public Beta branch. Since then, we’ve also been hard at work to implement all the improvements – and more – in our default branch, so here’s an overview of the things we are planning to include!

First of all, we’ve dedicated resources to restructure game data and its management once again. As a result, the initial loading time has been significantly reduced. We hope that many of you will be delighted by that.

Secondly, one of the most heated discussions revolved around the problem that a comitatus has acquired slaves after Crew Combat regardless of the player’s intentions. This is especially an issue during Abolitionist playthroughs or when a vagrus leads a fully mounted comitatus and has to dismount due to the extra slaves. To remedy that, the player is now allowed the agency to deal with the slaves after Crew Combat in (reworked) new ways that are similar to how you can deal with the enemy.

Last, but not least, many of you have raised concerns about not being able to tell if you own a DLC and if it is downloaded. To tackle that issue, this information will be adequately reflected in Main Menu > Extras Menu as well from now on.

That’s it for now, we are going full steam ahead, putting a lot of effort into developing something we hope you’ll love to see in Vagrus: The Riven Realms, as usual.

Until next time, stay tuned and conquer the wasteland!
