Refurbished Tectii
31 Oct | 10:00 am

For this week’s post, we’d like to draw attention to several pieces of artwork by our wonderful painter, Bence, or Benmonor. Bence is always ready to create multiple iterations of environmental paintings, filling Xeryn with awe-inspiring art. Here we have included a few of his works that quietly made it into the game’s main campaign.

The above represents a sight most typical of underground tectii, places where denizens of the continent of Xeryn sought refuge from the chaos sown by the Calamity more than one thousand years before Vagrus is set. Such sites are often filled with other elements of intrigue or interest, such as those shown in this crystalline variation of the ruined underground.

There are others, of course, but we shall leave those to be discovered in-game. Perhaps above all else, these pieces highlight a trend within our studio: our ongoing commitment to reiterating and expanding upon art assets and writing that we once deemed to be lacking. Many have been refurbished or revitalized for usage across the game, and we are certain there are more to come. Other examples include our new jungle art and several paintings that fit in-game markets, as shown here. As we inch closer to the release of our region DLC, we shall add many more pieces to the wide range of art in Vagrus, in so doing inspiring countless vagri to continue their adventures across the Realms.

It is now, dear vagrus, that we must bid you farewell, as we always do. Stay vigilant, stay safe, and conquer the wasteland!
